Carin Reich's journey as an artist exemplifies unwavering determination and the power of self-discovery. Throughout her life, she often found herself saying, "One day I am going to be an artist," harboring a deep desire to pursue her creative calling. However, it took quite some time to accept her art as “real” and follow her creative gut.

Carin was trained in a two-year core art foundation program and 2 years in graphic design to receive a BFA as well as a minor in art history from Boston University. Considering “art” works of great historic “masters”, it was hard for her to fully embrace her own digital work as a legitimate artistic expression. It was once she delved into her artistic journey as a working artist that she realized the importance of finding true passion and meaning behind her work.

Carin made a significant impact as a creative director and graphic designer for over 3 decades. She has worked in various industries, including fashion and children's media, and has even published children's books. Drawing inspiration from her lifelong fascination with space, Carin is now creating a body of work Reimagining Constellations (of the zodiac) as mesmerizing crystal forms. Her work is marked by a unique blend of spirituality, data visualization, and a deep connection to the cosmos. Carin works in mixed media and printmaking which has led her to further explore new techniques, energy, and wood carving.

Spirituality has always been a profound focal point in Carin’s artistic endeavors. A life-changing encounter left an indelible mark on her soul. While waiting for the elevator at her corporate job in Manhattan, a courier noticed she was wearing a cowboy hat and asked, "Do you miss the mountains?" This seemingly innocuous question struck a chord deep within Carin, unraveling her affinity for the natural beauty of the West. The irony being that Carin had never even been to the mountains. Tears flowed as she returned to her office, feeling the emptiness of her work in the corporate world. Inspired to explore healing, regression therapy, and rebirthing, Carin began a transformative journey, drawing influences from diverse experiences along the way.

Carin believes in infusing positivity and activating uplifting energy within her work. Her mantra, "To express is to heal," became the driving force behind her artistry, specifically her “FLIP” project, a pop-art-infused political call to action designed to bring communities together. Originally, a crystal middle finger served as a fuck you during her daughter’s cancer journey and later morphed into “F-U Red Blue”, a call for people to come together despite divergent political views.

Carin Reich's artistic journey is a testament to the power of following one's passion, regardless of age or societal expectations. Through her art, she seeks to heal, express, and inspire, leaving an indelible impact on those who encounter her captivating creations. As she continues to evolve as an artist, Carin’s work emits healing, love, and the boundless possibilities of creativity.
